On 18 December 2024, His Holiness Pope Francis granted permission for the beatification of Archbishop Eduard Profittlich, S.J. (1890–1942).

The ceremony will take place on 6 September 2025 at Freedom Square in Tallinn during the Holy Mass, presided over by Cardinal Christoph Schönborn as the representative of the Pope.

The Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. Admission to the Mass will be open from 9:30 a.m., and we kindly ask you to be present no later than 10:30 a.m.
